John Heltzel, AIA
President
John began his career in construction in the mid ‘80s as a construction laborer and worked his way up to framing and trim carpentry. He graduated from the School of Architecture at Virginia Tech in 1987 and completed his first design and construction project of a custom home in 1988. There are over 1,000 homes designed by John in the Northern Virginia area today.

Curtis Ziese
Project Manager
Curt began his career in construction in the mid '80s as a custom home framing carpenter. By 1990 Curt was managing and supervising the construction of multiple residential projects in the Northern Virginia area. Curt has been a member of Heltzelhaus, Inc. for over 20 years. His knowledge of construction, attention to detail and communication skills with Clients are what keep our clients coming back to us for their next home project.
