We support and contribute to regional programs and organizations that help people help themselves out of difficult circumstances, as well as programs that support the development of the community leaders of tomorrow – our youth.
John Heltzel served for eight years on the Board of Directors of SERVE, Inc., an emergency assistance and transitional housing facility that recently merged with Northern Virginia Family Service in Oakton, Virginia. Since the merger, John continues to serve on the Board of Directors of NVFS. He is an active member of Rotary International, currently chairing the Administration Committee. Over the years we’ve made donations and provided in-kind service to these and many other charitable organizations, including:
- Greater Washington Boys and Girls Club
- American Red Cross
- Early Head Start
- NVBIA Homeaid
John’s work with youth includes participating regularly in school “career days” and shadowing programs, coaching his four sons’ soccer teams, and regularly volunteering for his sons’ swim team.
